The grapes were grown on the Los Linques "Reserve" hillside, blocks 23, 24 & 25. The wine offers elegant notes of tobacco, mocha and roasted coffee beans. It presents soft tannins, wine of great balance with a persistent and long finish.
Red meat, particularly lamb.
"The 2019 Petit Verdot Single Vineyard from Los Lingues, Colchagua, was aged for 10 months in French oak. Dark garnet red in hue. The nose presents herbal aromas with hints of spice over a ripe, dark fruit backdrop. A relaxed take on the variety and the region, it leaves the palate a little dry before the mildly flavored finish. - Joaquín Hidalgo"

"Aromas of dark plums, blackberries, dried herbs, cardamom, cloves and peppercorns. Medium-to full-bodied with firm, chewy tannins. Dark, spicy and structured with lots of chocolate and dark-fruit character. Sustainable. Drink or hold."

"Petit Verdot is arguably better as a blending grape than a varietal wine, but this is very true to its personality. Firm, structured and grippy, with classic damson and blackberry fruit, chewy tannins and well-integrated second use barrels. Drink with food, preferably a steak. 2023-28"

"Consultant Didier Debono uses no new wood on this Petit Verdot, rightly reasoning that the wine has more than enough structure as it is. Serious, concentrated and dense, with a hint of good reduction, firm, sinewy tannins and damson and blueberry fruit flavours. 2021-27"
