The wine offers an intense violet color, beautiful aromas of black fruits that are complemented with notes of figs and spices. Soft, round tannins. Excellent concentration, round and ample, with juicy flavors.
Red Meat and dishes with a little spice.
"A step up from the Gran Reserva release, this comes from an 11-year-old vineyard in Los Lingues and is another impressive expression of Chile's adopted red grape. Subtly wooded in third and fourth use barrels, it's appealingly fresh and detailed with graphite, green herb and blackberry flavours, tangy acidity and refreshing minerality. 2022-28"

"Cherry, dark-spice, cocoa, tobacco-leaf and earthy notes on the nose. It’s full-bodied with firm, tight-grained tannins. Concentrated and chewy with generous berries and spices. Drink or hold."

"Spicy black fruit aromas are intense and herbal as Carmenère should be, with a hint of varietally common bell pepper. A plump palate is rich and fruity, but nicely balanced by seemingly natural acidity. Spicy, herbal black fruit flavors are generous and suggest barbecued meat and smoke. On the finish, a minty green character isn't too aggressive. Drink through 2023. - MICHAEL SCHACHNER"

"A significant step up from the cheaper Gran Reserva release, this is a delicious expression of Carmenère from Los Lingues that combines richness and depth of flavour with notes of incense and green pepper and well handled French and American oak. 2020-28"

"Cool, herbal berry aromas give off complex notes of tobacco, olive and eucalyptus, all of which are patented for Chilean Carmenère. A fairly lush palate shows depth and spicy, herbal plum and berry fruit flavors before this mellows out on the finish with no burn or tannic bite. - MICHAEL SCHACHNER"

"A classic, bold carménère with notes of blueberry compote, cranberry sauce, dried tobacco, licorice and bark. Full body, quite a lot of extract, but this remains structured with a fine line of acidity. Drink in 2020."

"The single vineyard Carmenere also comes from the Los Lingues vineyard. We love Chilean Carmenere, and this one doesn’t disappoint. With a high toned nose of dark fruit with red fruit highlights, it delivers an elegant, silky palate of impressive depth and purity with round, firm tannins. Ready to drink now. Aged in French oak for 8 months."

"If you’re going to make a Carmenère in Colchagua, Los Lingues is arguably the best place to do it. This is a floral, perfumed, judiciously oaked red with notes of incense and green herbs, refreshing acidity and caressing tannins. 2019-23"

"Grainy, resiny oak aromas share space on the nose with herbal black fruit and green scents. This is racy and fresh for Carmenère, with full-force tannins. Herbal, roasted black-fruit and chocolate flavors are long and oaky on the finish, with a mocha note. Drink through 2020."

"Los Lingues wasn’t planted to vines until the end of the 1990s. After almost two decades, it has proved to be a great place for Carmenère. The combination of cold breezes from the Andes together with the generous Colchagua sun leads to wines like this: rich in soft, ripe fruit but also energized by vibrant acidity and lovely peppery and herbal notes."
