"Just a classic Condrieu in every sense, the 2019 Condrieu Les Ravines reveals a light gold hue as well as beautiful honeyed peach and pineapple-like fruits interwoven with plenty of spice, flowers, and orange marmalade nuances. It's rich, medium to full-bodied, beautifully balanced, and is going to evolve nicely for 4-5 years or so. This is the larger production cuvée from Niero, and it's brought up in a mix of barrels and stainless steel. It's one hell of an entry-level wine!"

"A blend of fruit from five granitic vineyard parcels, Nitro's 2019 Condrieu Les Ravines is floral and effusive on the nose, spicy and complex, with more lychee than apricot fruit. Medium to full-bodied, it remains vibrant from start to finish, finishing with hints of white pepper and minty freshness.
Remi Niero has turned out some wonderful wines. Modern and clean without having lost their sense of place, his various 2019 bottlings from Condrieu, in particular, are stunning. Bravo!- Joe Czerwinski"

"This domaine turned out a trio of fine 2016s. The 2016 Condrieu Les Ravines, blended from five different granite lieux-dits, features scents of crushed stone to go along with bold pineapple fruit. "Light peach skin. Ripe peach, pear nectar, mango and honey on the deeply perfumed nose. Plush, broad and gently sweet on the palate, offering warm orchard and pit fruit flavors sharpened by a suggestion of candied ginger. Distinctly rich and exotic, in the style of the vintage, delivering strong finishing thrust and a late jolt of bitter orange pith. I'd drink this one on the young side. - Josh Raynolds"
