From superb hillside terraces situated on the highest parts of the town of Condrieu, the Cuvee "Les Ravines" is the result of an elegant blend of 5 parcels planted on granite soils. The wine reveals fresh and pure aromas of white fruit combined with delicate floral notes. The lively and harmonious mouthfeel is characterized by a beautiful body, a delicate and pure finish that truly express the minerality of the terroir.
Asparagus with mousseline sauce, pike quenelles, pourlty, lobster en bellevue, scallops, praws with curry sauce, delicate asian dishes.
"Coconut, banana and lychee on the nose. Silky on the palate, no great extract or concentration of fruit, but there is enough to bring balance and a fresh juiciness. Acidity is low but balanced and the wine feels authentic and well-balanced overall. From 20-year-old vines on average, across five excellent lieux-dits. 40% of the wine was aged in barrel, the rest in stainless steel. Drinking Window 2022 - 2024 - Matt Walls"

"Notes of pineapple, peach, and honeyed toast emerge from the 2020 Condrieu Les Ravines, a fleshy, round, supple Condrieu offering good purity as well as balance. It's going to keep for 3-5 years."

"Just a classic Condrieu in every sense, the 2019 Condrieu Les Ravines reveals a light gold hue as well as beautiful honeyed peach and pineapple-like fruits interwoven with plenty of spice, flowers, and orange marmalade nuances. It's rich, medium to full-bodied, beautifully balanced, and is going to evolve nicely for 4-5 years or so. This is the larger production cuvée from Niero, and it's brought up in a mix of barrels and stainless steel. It's one hell of an entry-level wine!"

"A blend of fruit from five granitic vineyard parcels, Nitro's 2019 Condrieu Les Ravines is floral and effusive on the nose, spicy and complex, with more lychee than apricot fruit. Medium to full-bodied, it remains vibrant from start to finish, finishing with hints of white pepper and minty freshness.
Remi Niero has turned out some wonderful wines. Modern and clean without having lost their sense of place, his various 2019 bottlings from Condrieu, in particular, are stunning. Bravo!- Joe Czerwinski"

"The 2018 Condrieu Les Ravines is the largest production cuvée and spent 12 months in 40% barrels and 60% in stainless steel. Its light gold color is followed by a balanced, rounded, sexy Condrieu that has impressive notes of white peach, honeyed minerality and white flowers. It's clean, straight, beautifully balanced, and just a classic Condrieu."

"This domaine turned out a trio of fine 2016s. The 2016 Condrieu Les Ravines, blended from five different granite lieux-dits, features scents of crushed stone to go along with bold pineapple fruit. It's round and even a bit oily but not overdone, balanced by hints of ginger and white pepper on the finish. - Joe Czerwinski"

"The 2016 Condrieu Les Ravines is more fresh and vibrant, with medium-bodied notes of citrus blossom, spice, and mineral nuances. It doesn’t have the exotic, majestic style of the other two cuvées, but is still a beautiful Condrieu that will keep for 3-5 years."

"Pale gold. Heady, mineral-laced citrus and orchard fruit aromas, along with a sexy floral overtone that gains strength as the wine opens up. Silky, focused and seamless on the palate, offering intense orange, pear, white peach and bitter quinine flavors that show excellent depth as well as energy. The floral note reemerges on the strikingly long, penetrating finish, which leaves behind a sweet peach nectar note. - Josh Raynolds"

"Light peach skin. Ripe peach, pear nectar, mango and honey on the deeply perfumed nose. Plush, broad and gently sweet on the palate, offering warm orchard and pit fruit flavors sharpened by a suggestion of candied ginger. Distinctly rich and exotic, in the style of the vintage, delivering strong finishing thrust and a late jolt of bitter orange pith. I'd drink this one on the young side. - Josh Raynolds"
