The wine is a pure expression ot the terroir. A deep and brillant golden color, the wine is charming and well-balanced offering an enticing nose of fresh white fruits and flowers. Smooth and rich on the palate with great concentration and complex flavors supported by a hint of minerality that brings freshness and finesse to the wine. A long and elegant finish.
The wine pairs well with salmon carpaccio, scallops, foie gras, pork loin with curry sauce, delicate Asian food, goat cheese.
"Orange blossom and subtle lime hints over apricot fruit. It's silky with plenty of glycerol fat on the palate. Good acidity and a subtle saline seam. The oak is well-integrated and there's some length here - if this continues to take on weight it could be very good indeed. A selection of the best barrels and tanks of the domaine. "Grilled peach, roasted pineapple, spice, and toasted bread notes all emerge from the 2020 Condrieu Heritage, a brilliantly balanced, medium to full-bodied Condrieu that does everything right. With both richness and freshness, it blossoms with time in the glass and offers terrific purity as well as a touch more minerality. It's terrific."

"A cellar selection of the best lots, Nitro's 2019 Condrieu Heritage is typically about 50% barrel aged, whereas the other cuvées run about 40% barrel and 60% tank. Whatever the oak regimen, it's a minor element of the wine, with the emphasis on flowers, peppery spice and ripe apricots. Full-bodied and rich, it nevertheless reveals remarkable freshness and length on the finish—a true exemplar of the appellation.
Remi Niero has turned out some wonderful wines. Modern and clean without having lost their sense of place, his various 2019 bottlings from Condrieu, in particular, are stunning. Bravo! - Joe Czerwinski."

"More citrus blossom, honeyed peach, flinty minerality, and white flower notes emerge from the 2019 Condrieu Heritage, a rich, full-bodied Condrieu. With beautiful overall balance, a remarkable sense of purity, and a great finish, this is one classy Condrieu that has the more forward, supple style of the vintage yet will still drink beautifully for 4-6 years.."

"The 2018 Condrieu Héritage is a better wine in 2018 and has more mid-palate depth as well as balance compared to the Chery release. Beautiful notes of crushed rocks, honeyed citrus, tangerine, and white flowers all flower to a medium to full-bodied, beautifully balanced, layered Condrieu that's ideal for drinking over the coming 4-5 years."

"Coming from a who’s who of vineyards (Roncharde, Côte Chatillon, La Caille, Vergelas, Corbéry and Chéry) and brought up in a mix of stainless steel and French oak, the 2016 Condrieu Héritage boasts an exotic, perfumed bouquet of wildflowers, honeysuckle, liquid rock and ripe tangerines. With medium-bodied richness and a crisp, balanced, beautifully fresh style, it just sings of pure Viognier (and Condrieu) and is a great white to drink over the coming 4-6 years."

"A selection of the best barrels, from vines up to 70 years old. The Intense nose has great purity of expression, focussing more on flowers than fruit. In the mouth, it is full, silky and flowing, finishing with a hint of noble bitterness. It's very long indeed, with great finesse. Like many Condrieus in 2016, it does lack a touch of acidity, but it's nonetheless an excellent example. Drinking Window 2018 - 2021."

"A selection of the best individual barrels/cuves, the 2016 Condrieu Heritage is drawn from the estate's oldest vines (around 70 years old), aged in stainless steel (60%) and barrel (40%). It's textbook floral, apricot aromas lead into a medium to full-bodied wine that manages to be rich and viscous without being cloying, as citrus zest and brine emerge on the long finish. - Joe Czerwinski"

"The top wine of the estate, the tiny production 2013 Condrieu Héritage comes from a number of terroirs (similar to the les Ravines), and sees 12 months in equal parts French oak and stainless steel. Starting out crisp and mineral-laced, it blossoms with time in the glass and reveals beautiful notes of white peach, marmalade, stone fruits and dried herbs. Medium-bodied, classic, energetic and lively, it strikes a good balance between richness and fresh, and comes across as a classic, textbook Condrieu. It will drink well for 4-5 years.- Jeb Dunnuck"
