Harmonious, fresh and clean aromas of fresh apple, lemon, orange blossom, white flower. Pure, crisp, silky and fine texture. Ripe fruit flavors and good acidity.
"The 2020 Mâcon-Vergisson Sur La Roche comes from 25-year old vines on the northeast side of the Roche de Vergisson, three parcels, two limestone and one on more clayey soils. It has a perfumed nose, touches of white flower and peach skin, much more complex than the Mâcon-Village by direct comparison. The palate is well balanced with a fine line of acidity, a soupçon of lemon rind lending tension with a dab of ginger imparting spiciness on the finish. Not one to cellar long-term, but pop 'n pour 'n enjoy. - Neal Martin"

"The 2019 Mâcon-Vergisson Sur La Roche is comparatively backward on the nose compared to the Saint-Véran, struck flint scents emerging with aeration. The palate is well balanced with a touch of sour lemon on the entry. There is a slight waxiness in terms of texture with a saline ginger-tinged finish. Very promising. - Neal Martin"
