decanter logo 250"Peach in colour, not white. Fruits span pêche de vigne, lychee and melon, with a touch of butterscotch in the background. Fairly full-bodied, fresh, and finishes clean, not cloying. Further peach on the finish. Great sense of purity, not a hugely powerful vintage but a very good one, with balance and purity. Aged in stainless steel. 110g/L residual sugar. - Matt Walls"

decanter logo 250"Pale peachy pink color. Full-bodied, with deep quince flavor, a touch of rhubarb. Acidity is quite marked, certainly balanced. Ends quite savory despite the sweetness on the mid-palate. Very silky, tons of glycerol. Plenty of dry extract, it makes you salivate. Likely to age well. Drinking Window 2020 - 2035 - Matt WALLS"

2018 Domaine des Bernardins Muscat de Beaumes de Venise VDN - 91 PTS - DECANTER

decanter logo 250"Pale orange colour. Confit orange, orange blossom, lychee, a touch of brown sugar. On the palate it is exceptionally full-bodied, with acidity a little on the low side. There's firm bitterness on the finish, and it lacks the freshness of some years, if not the depth. Long finish. It really coats the mouth with sweetness and flavour. Handpicked, all pressed immediately and fermented in stainless steel without any skin contact. Wine is aged in stainless steel for six months after adding the fortifying spirit."

"Dusky pink in hue, this blend of 75% white and 25% black Muscat à Petits Grains offers sunny peach and blood orange flavors edged by a touch of aperol-like bitterness. It's lusciously sweet, even a touch marmalade like, but balanced alcohol and fresh acidity lead a vibrant finish. - ANNA LEE C. IIJIMA"

jeb dunnuck logo 250"This appellation, located just south of Gigondas, always produced a Provençal, spicy wine and the 2018 Beaumes De Venise is no exception, showing a ruby/purple hue, notes of herbes de Provence, ground pepper, and garrigue, loads of raspberry and blackberry fruits, medium-bodied richness, and a great finish. It’s an undeniably delicious, balanced, gulpable beauty to enjoy over the coming 3-5 years."
