"This bright, fruity Riesling neatly expresses the Eden Valley through freshly sliced green apples, lime and tangerine peel backed by some white-spice and lavender notes. There's a burst of mouthwatering acidity on the dry palate, along with tingly juicy fruit and a chalky texture. This is a tasty easy-drinking drop now and it has potential to age into a more honeyed version of itself, so drink now through 2026. - Christina PICKARD"

"The 2017 Eden Trail Riesling starts off with potent lime sherbet aromas. It's a crisp, medium-bodied wine, very citrusy and clean, without much adornment. Steel-fermented and aged, it's a focused, linear laser beam of citrus with hints of peach and green apple. - Joe Czerwinski"

"Green-hued straw. Incisive citrus pith and green apple scents are complemented by a subtle floral topnote. Dry and taut in the mouth, offering zesty lime, pear and basil flavors and showing a hint of salinity. Closes firm and refreshingly bitter, repeating the basil note. - Josh Raynolds"

"The 2016 Eden Trail Eden Valley Riesling by Thorn-Clarke begins with a very pleasant bouquet chock full of wonderful floral aromas, citrus, lime and green apple plus a hint of a nutty note. The wine tastes of citrus and lime-soaked rocks along with plenty of tart acidity and mouth-watering green apple. This is quite simply a lovely, dry and mineral-based Riesling, not the super sweet stuff you find at the supermarket. With great balance and plenty of complexity, this one should also have the ability to age nicely for a few years. It ends dry and very long with all the flavors from the palate lingering for an almost impossibly long time in the mouth. Exquisite!"

"Green-hued straw. High-pitched aromas of grapefruit, pear skin, lemongrass and honeysuckle carry a vibrant mineral overtone. Nervy and linear on the palate, offering juicy citrus and orchard fruit flavors that deepen steadily through the midpalate. Shows emphatic mineral character on the incisive, impressively long finish, which leaves behind zesty citrus fruit and floral notes.- Josh Raynolds"

"Elegant but piercing.Lime, bath salts, slate and floral aromas/flavours. Slight spritz but this is a ripping wine, it knows exactly what it's about and how to get there. Direct line from start to finish, gathers momentum fast and drives out through the finish.- James Halliday"
