Maurice Martin Macon Villages shows a brillant white gold color with silver and greenish reflections. Delicate aromas of acacia, honeysuckle and lemongrass intertwined with hints of citrus fruit and apple blossom. The smooth and silky palate is full of fresh fruit flavors, melon and citrus fruits supported by a crisp acidity and finishing with a nice tension and a good balance.
A food friendly wine that matches with a wide variety of dishes: grilled fish, creamy risottos, antipasti, salads, sushis, very pleasant at the aperitif.
"Bright pale yellow. Aromas of lemon drop, green apple, menthol and dusty herbs. Supple, easygoing, oak-free wine with good breadth, moderate intensity and adequate framing acidity to its flavors of citrus fruits, white pepper and menthol. Finishes firm. - Stephen Tanzer"

"The 2014 Macon-Villages is 100% Chardonnay and reveals notes of honeysuckle, apple blossom and white currant; it has a lovely purity, is dry, medium-bodied and would suggest it was aged completely in neutral wood or tank, because there is no evidence of oak. Drink it over the next 1-2 years."

"From organically grown grapes, this is a ripe, full wine. Excellent acidity binds the apple and grapefruit flavors. With a crisp texture allied to the ripe fruitiness, it is already balanced and very refreshing."
