A pale golden-yellow color with green tints.
An expressive, powerful nose dominated by white flowers and grapefruit aromas. On the palate it is full and well-balanced with a nice freshness and good acidity. Clean, crisp and dry finish.
Perfect with seafood and oysters. It is also a good match with goat cheese, such as Crottin de Chavignol, and cheese fondues.
"Catherine Corbeau Mellot has run this estate since her husband Alexandre's passing in 2005, six years after he had taken over Sorbe's domaine. She ferments and ages this Quincy in stainless steel, producing a healthy, structured sauvignon with overtones of tropical fruit. Its minerality comes off akin to grill-smoke, adding depth and placing the wine with a grilled pork chop and poached apples."

"Now owned by the Sancerre producer, Joseph Mellot, this estate is a standard bearer in Quincy. This wine's floral character and generous currant fruitiness is balanced by a tangy acidity and texture. - Roger Voss"

"The 2017 Quincy Blanc is all Sauvignon brought up in tank, seeing no oak whatsoever. This beautifully layered, mineral-laced white offers classic Loire notes of green citrus, earth, and crushed rocks. With good acidity and a layered texture, it’s well worth seeking out and is going to shine on the dinner table."
