Pinot Gris is a powerful and well structured wine. Round and rich offering fruity aromas, toasty and spicy notes. On the palate it is elegant and harmonious.
Excellent as an aperitif, it also pairs well with poultry with rich sauce, duck with balsamic vinegar, game, veal, comté cheese or white fruit based desserts.
"Ripe Conference pear is pristine on the nose of this wine. The palate holds the same ripe freshness, adding a slightly textured creamy note, balancing freshness and a hint of baking spice. It is off dry and bright on the finish. - ANNE KREBIEHL MW"

"Yellow pear on the nose of this wine has the lift of ripe lemon. The palate is rounder and gentler than the nose suggests. A pithy edge of russet-pear peel adds backbone to the full, generous fruit. The finish is just about dry. - ANNE KREBIEHL MW"

"Slight notes of yellow pear appear gently on the nose and become fully-fledged on the soft easy fruit-driven palate. A dollop of residual sweetness helps these fruity flavors along. An edge of bitter zestiness and freshness contains the fruit. This finishes off dry but fresh."

"Although the nose of this wine is subdued, it sends out appealing hints of red apple and yellow pear. The palate is fresh and has real mouthfeel. This is appetizing and full of defined apple and pear notes. The lip-smacking finish makes you long for more."- Roger Voss"

"This feels pure despite its unctuous texture, offering juicy pear and white peach flavors balanced by a watercress and green almond bitterness. There's a good amount of fat in the middle of it, but the lemon-like acidity pulls it into focus. For chicken liver mousse."
