TASTING NOTES
Generously fragrant aromas leap out of the glass, offering jasmine, spiced pear, green apple, honeydew, and white peach. The palate is crisp, with the green apple carrying over, mandarin, and a steely yet balanced acidity ready to accompany complex dishes to backyard conversations.
Starting gunshot to any coursed meal, or even as a cocktail. Try as a Bianco, with campari, lemon, ice and a splash of soda.
"A pale straw, the 2022 Pinot Gris Arsheen is lightly flinty, with a soft, floral perfume of geranium, ripe melon, and tangerine. Medium-bodied, it’s juicy and long on the palate, with more substance to its ripe notes of pear and a touch of saline. A ton of wine for the price, this is not your run-of-the-mill Pinot Gris. It has a lot of character and should have several years ahead of it."

"A penetrating pungency amps up the herbal side of the grape here, adding the spicy character that is more often found in Sauvignon Blancs. The fruit flavors mix lemon, melon and juicy pineapple. - PAUL GREGUTT"

"The 2017 Pinot Gris Arsheen Momtazi Vineyard is delicately scented of gravel dust, green pear and citrus pith with notions of peanut shell. It’s light to medium-bodied, simple and refreshing with pleasant phenolic texture carrying the finish. 1,200 cases produced. - Erin Brooks"
