This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from three vineyards: Mast Ranch, for its earthy and robust structure, Flat Rock Ranch, for its fruit-forward characteristic and silky tannins, and Linda Vista Ranch, for its juicy and vibrant approachability. The blending of these three vineyards has resulted in an elegant wine with a well-balanced structure.
Dark crimson ruby color with a slight purple hue introduces aromas of cherry preserves, crème brûlée and vanilla extract. This medium bodied red wine expresses flavors of black plum, dark chocolate, and ripe blueberries on the front of the palate, and is complemented by a sage brown butter and sturdy tannins on the finish. The long expressive finish would be complimented by a prime Filet Mignon or an ooey gooey brownie.
"A lush, flattering style, with warmed cassis, fresh açaí berry and boysenberry pâte de fruit notes pressed together by bittersweet cocoa–accented toast. Dark and winey through the finish, with a streak of tar underneath that gives the lush fruit a solid grounding. Best from 2025 through 2037.. —James MOLESWORTH."

"A juicy, ripe and packed style, with a core of dark currant and boysenberry preserves flanked by singed vanilla and black licorice. Ends with toasty oomph, but with good underlying energy as well. Drink now through 2034. —James MOLESWORTH."

"The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is a gorgeous appellation-level
wine. Silky and plush, the 2018 offers tons of immediacy. Ripe dark cherry,
plum, lavender, spice and menthol are pushed forward in this succulent
Cabernet from Laird. Enjoy it over the next decade."- Antonio Galloni's Vinous (January 2022), 92 pts
"Deep purple-black colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley gives redcurrant jelly, black cherries, mulberries and bay leaves scents with wafts of damp soil, olives and truffles. The soft, medium-bodied palate gives bags of youthful fruit and an earthy finish. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown"

"This is big, yet tight and focused in the center palate. Lovely density and length. Full body, pretty dark fruit and a long and flavorful finish. Needs time to come together, but already very pretty. Drink in 2020."

"A rich, unctuous wine, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is sweet, layered and enveloping in feel. Dark cherry, plum, mocha, cloves and new leather are all fused together. This is an especially intense, flamboyant expression of the vintage."
