The Vinterra Sauvignon Blanc displays fresh, lively gooseberry, passion fruit and a citrus aromas on the nose, with a nice tropical note at the end resembling guava and passion fruit. The palate is structured and intense with a fresh tropical finish.
"Although this Sauvignon is from a region 180 miles south of Marlborough, it exhibits similar characters to its more famous neighbor. Heady aromas of grapefruit, lime, jalapeño pepper and nettles lead to a bright and citrusy palate. A touch of residual sugar helps balance the zingy acidity and adds texture and fruit weight to this simple but gluggable wine. - Christina PICKARD"
