The wine shows a pale salmon pink color and offers delicate aromas of roses and orange blossom that will develop into gooseberry and peach blossoms as the temperature in the glass rises. The palate is crisp, lean and elegant, with persistent flavors of cherry, blackcurrant, apricot and red currant.
Pairs well with poultry and spicy food.
"We taste a lot of rosé each year (see our 2021 report Rosés from Around the World), and the Reverdy Rosé is always one of our favorites. The 2023 vintage doesn’t disappoint. Transluscent, light pink color. Incisive, pure red berry and cherry aromas and flavors finishing with a persistent fresh citrus note. - Don WINKLER"

"Vivid orange-pink. Fresh strawberry, tangerine and floral scents are sharpened by a frisson of chalky minerality. Clean and racy on the palate, showing fine clarity to the red berry and citrus fruit flavors. Finishes minerally and dry, showing energetic lift and strong, mineral- and floral-driven persistence. - Josh Raynolds"

Very easy and refreshing to drink. 100% Pinot Noir from 90% direct press and 10% saignée grown on clay, limestone and marl soils. This 12 ha estate vineyard has been in the same family for 10 generations. Christophe Reverdy is the owner. - Don WINKLER"

"Diaphanous pink. Fresh red berry and floral scents take on a spicy aspect with air. Nicely concentrated yet lithe as well, offering juicy raspberry, tangerine and candied rose flavors that spread out slowly through the back half. Finishes on a lingering berry note, with a white pepper flourish adding final bite. - Josh Raynolds"

"The light pink-hued 2019 Les Villots Rose from Jean Reverdy is a juicy, lightly textured, racy style of rosé that has quality cherry fruits, a touch of sappy herbs and white flowers, medium to light body, and crisp acidity that really comes through on the finish. It nevertheless stays nicely balanced and is a mouthwatering, very good rosé to enjoy over the coming summer months."

"Medium reddish pink. Offering a rich, ripe nose and a round ripe palate, the Les Villots rosé is soft and fruit forward with red berry and cherry aromas and flavors. There’s medium acidity, but there’s less vibrancy here than in prior vintages of this wine. Still, very pleasant and easy drinking."
