Penedo Borges Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the best Cabernet Sauvignon parcels of a 48-hectare single vineyard in Alto Agrelo. It is a 48 hectares continuous vineyard.

Wine of great varietal expression. A characteristic Cabernet Sauvignon from Agrelo. Deep ruby red color, with black fruit notes. Roasted red pepper, white and black pepper, mocha and chocolate. Balanced acidity, great volume, ripe tannins with a persistent finish.

Vinification

From the most unique and outstanding parcels, grapes are picked for our Penedo Borges Parcel Selection, picked, selected and vinified separately in small 500-1000 litre tanks exploring its best characteristics and differentiation, accentuated with barrels especially selected for each wine. This wine was aged in Frencha nd American Oak barrels (first and second use) for 12 months.
