Unoaked Chardonnay. Crisp and fresh offering a delicious bouquet of white flower, peach, citrus and mineral aromas. The flavors are rich and concentrated showing ripe apples, litchee and citrus fruits with hints of spice. A great wine to pair with seafood, sushi, poultry and goat cheese.
Pairs well with poultry with creamy sauce, shellfish and goat cheese.
"A whiff of reduction needs to blow off before candied lemon and apple notes can shine. The palate of this wine offers vivid but tempered juiciness that is the result of ripeness captured at just the right moment. This wine expresses the generosity of 2018 with verve, balance and freshness. - ANNE KREBIEHL MW"

"(this is the estate's best-known bottling, representing an assemblage of 30 parcels): Bright gold-tinged yellow. Deep, fruit-driven aromas of apple, pear, pèche de vigne and spices. Supple, spicy, easygoing wine, but nicely framed by a mineral/citrus edge. A bit weightier than the Mâcon-Davayé, and longer and more energetic on the finish. - Stephen Tanzer"

"This wine has spice, concentrated yellow fruits and a delicious backbone of acidity. With its acidity firmly in place, the wine is beginning to reveal the richer yellow fruit and tangy lemon. Already delicious, it will be better from 2017."

"Crisp, textured and with great acidity, this wine is still developing. It is packed with fresh citrus and apple fruits cut with strong minerality. Drink this structured wine from 2017. — R.V."
