Sourced from multiple sites residing on the floor of Bennett Valley, up to 1000’ on the northwest crown of Sonoma Mountain. The push-pull nature of the valley floor and high-elevation, hillside fruit creates a complex Pinot Noir, that balances the fruit-forwardness of Sonoma, with beaming minerality and a warming savoriness.
Raised with minimalistic methods, including native fermentations, and minimal new oak impact - this wine is immediate, fruit-driven, pure, fresh and complex. The purity of red Pinot Noir fruits, caressing textures balanced by true minerality and refreshing acidity.
Excellent with salmon and light cheese.
"Medium ruby in color, the 2016 Pinot Noir Mosaic has a pretty nose of pink peppercorn, herbs and dusty earth over a core of savory black fruit and spices. Medium-bodied, it gives good layers of flavors in the mouth with concentrated black fruits and loads of spice, grainy tannins to support and a long, lingering finish. Yum! 600 cases produced.. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown"
