A tribute to Lucien Trouillard, Cuvée du Fondateur is produced in exceptional years only.
With a minimum of 4 years of aging, this vintage cuvee is a symbol of excellence. It has a beautiful golden and bright yellow color. The nose is intense with floral aromas, honey and a wisp of vanilla. The palate is elegantly full with ripe white peach flavors and toasty overtones but balanced with a lively freshness, and delicacy on the long finish.
A decadent partner to foie gras!
"After 10 years, this Champagne is soft, just hinting at minerality from the Chardonnay. Orange zest and a floral touch give the wine a fine balance, the toastiness of maturity just a balancing hint. Drink now. - Roger Voss"

"This vintage Blanc de Blancs from the outstanding 2008 vintage provides lively, precise aromas of lemon meringue pie, honeysuckle and chalky minerals. The palate is equally intense with beautifully delineated ripe citrus and hints of cling peach and baked apple. While hedonistically rich and richly textured, the wine is light on its feet, finishing with excellent clarity and luscious lemony extract. 100% Chardonnay with 7 g/L RS. 8+ years on the lees."
