"Darkly alluring, the 2021 Red Blend Stanley Groovy opens with a burst of crushed ashen stones, exotic spice and black tea leaves, giving way to crushed blackberries. This is surprisingly juicy and round, with ripe red and black fruits that swirl throughout. A coating of grippy tannins lingers as a residual bump of acidity adds a lovely freshness. Hints of red plum fade. - Eric GUIDO"

"A unique Portuguese blend of 37% Touriga Nacional, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Tinta Roriz, 13% Tinto Cao, 9% Souzao, 4% Mourvedre, 4% Grenache, and 4% Counoise that delivers a ripe, opulent experience that brought me right back to Lisbon. It boasts notes of wild boysenberry, stewed blueberry, sweet toasted baking spices, cedary herbs, herbed meat, cigar ash, and dusty earth. Crunchy tannins check in at the medium level, while the acidity carries the finish through with a licorice and herbaceous note on the back palate. Better in 2024. - J YOUNG"

Brought up in 35-45% new oak, it has a deep ruby/purple hue as well as a ripe, sexy, complex, medium to full-bodied style offering lots of blueberries, wild strawberries, graphite, tobacco, and scorched earth. Ripe, mouth-filling, and loaded with character, it's going to drink nicely right out of the gate."
