Fruity, flinty, nutty, honey and creamy notes, along with beautiful brioche tones, come through on the nose. The Pinot Noir gives the wine good backbone, structure and longevity, while the Chardonnay provides the 'flintiness' which develops into creamy, elegant notes with aging. Dry, lingering and well-structured.
Enjoy as an aperitif or with fresh seafood, oysters, smoked venison Carpaccio, creamy chicken, apple crumble and even Cape Malay curry.

"Light golden straw. Biscuit and stone fruit on the nose with subtle nuttyness. Fresh and fruit-forward on the palate with a full and creamy aftertaste. A fine mousse and lengthy finish. Lemon drops and lime cordial. A fine wine that will age well."

"Showing a fragrant bouquet of toasted nuts and lemon-like citrus, the Tanzanite Brut is balanced and fresh with notes of orchard and citrus fruit and brioche on a crisp, dry palate. The finish is persistent and very dry. Well made. A blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir with 24+ months sur lie."

"A blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir, the NV Brut begins with biscuity aromas followed by green apple, citrus blossoms and lees. The palate is focused with precision and finesse and shows that the winemaker has taken a lot of time and effort to create this wine. Bright, energetic acidity livens up the mid-palate, and the mousse is firm with a soft nuttiness from the autolytic characteristic. The finish is long and subtly spicy with and lingers with notes of sweet brioche and cashew butter, as the wine spent two years on the lees. - Anthony Mueller"
