"The 2016 Chardonnay Silver Eagle Vineyard is dense and exotic in the glass. Orange peel, tangerine, hazelnut, crème brûlée and floral overtones develop over time. Rich and unctuous in feel, with notable oiliness, this is a decidedly exuberant Chardonnay. Readers should expect a big, ample wine. I find the Silver Eagle on the edge of being too heavy, but it certainly has a lot of character.”
