"The nose shows ripe plums, licorice, damp earth, coffee, dried herbs and a woody note. The palate is full throttle, oozing more ripe primary fruit and less secondary characters than the nose suggests. The tannins are big and muscular and oak is fairly prominent for the moment, but this should cellar nicely. Drink 2020–2027. - Christina Pickard"
