Aged 15 months in a combination of American and French oak, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Monteagrelo is more backward than the 2011 Malbec. It possesses a dense ruby/purple color along with notes of creme de cassis, tobacco leaf, cigar smoke, spice and vanillin. Medium to full-bodied with light-to-moderate tannin, good density and richness, it should drink well for 6-8 more years.
