"The red blend 2014 Conjuro is 50% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot with 14.5% alcohol and soft acidity, still quite marked by its élevage in new French barriques for 18 months. There is contained ripeness, and the wine doesn't seem strong enough for that much new oak. It comes through as quite oaky, with showy aromas but lacking a bit in the middle. 4,500 bottles produced. - Luis Gutiérrez"
