"Bright medium ruby. Fresh aromas of black raspberry, chocolate and minerals. Plush, rich and mouthfilling; fatter than the 2015 Bressia Profundo but without quite the definition or lift of that wine. This is more powerful but less complex and expressive; it's technically slightly higher in acidity but I never would have guessed. Finishes with a bit less energy and grip. (aged for 18 months in new Taransaud barrels). - Stephen Tanzer"
