"The top of the range red, the 2012 Conjuro is a blend of 50% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot from the Valle de Uco aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months. 2012 was a warm, ripe vintage with healthy grapes, and the wine shows it. There are plenty of notes of cinnamon and vanilla, and some smoky and balsamic notes reminiscent of incense. The palate is full-bodied, and the effect of the élevage is still pretty obvious, with abundant, slightly dry tannins and a remarkable, intense finish. An XXL red that needs time in bottle and powerful food. - Luis Gutiérrez"
