"With 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Merlot blended with Tinto Fino, this is not your usual Ribera del Duero monster. Aromas of breakfast sausage, fennel and bacon fat meld into lightly herbal berry scents. A fresh, forward palate is softened by creamy oak, while this tastes slightly lactic, with wood spice, hickory, bacon and blackberry flavors. On the finish, this mellows out and isn't too fierce.
