"I felt the ripeness, heat and oak more in the 2012 Tinto Reserva than in the Crianza from 2014. 2012 was a very dry year and this wine reached 15% alcohol, the same as the Crianza, but it feels warmer. The nose showed notes of incense, spices and noble woods over a core of ripe black fruit. The palate is lush and ripe, with round tannins and moderate acidity. It's incredible that with such ripeness and alcohol, the wine still feels quite balanced. In an XL way, but balanced. 60,000 bottles. - Luis Gutierrez"
