"A full blast of cassis and blackberry aromas conveys ripeness, while a side of murky earth is a barrier to greater excellence. On the palate, this is chewy, tannic and rich. Plum and blackberry flavors are familiar for quality Mendoza Malbec, while this feels a bit rubbery and tannic on the finish. For a marginal vintage like 2015, this deserves praise.
