"The 2017 Tavel from this terrific estate is a winner. Made from 50% Grenache, 30% Cinsault, and 10% each of Clairette and Syrah, it has classic cherry and strawberry fruits as well as subtle floral notes, and it’s medium-bodied, rich, and textured on the palate, with nicely integrated acidity. As with all classic Tavel, it’s geared for the dinner table and will keep for a year or two."
