"Pale yellow. Fresh citrus fruits, jasmine and licorice on the mineral-accented nose. Fleshy but lithe and focused on the palate, offering intense lemon and orange flavors and deeper notes of pear skin and honey. Gains weight with air and finishes with strong mineral cut and lingering floral nuances. This Champagne is aging slowly and will be even more interesting with five more years of bottle age."
"Hints of quince paste, honey, dried apricot and brioche mix in this finely knit and well-balanced Champagne. Vibrant and focused, with a minerally base note and an almond-laced finish. Drink now through 2024. 3,000 cases made. –AN"
"This balances the lush fruit of the 2006 vintage with a burst of acidity. The richness of the wine brings out notes of cheese rind and powerful chalkiness: the tightness comes across in crisp apple flavors and floral scents of chamomile. Youthfully blunt, this needs bottle age for the elements to mellow and meld."
"Still so crisp and fruity, this is lively Champagne. It has a great tang of lemon zest and a tight texture that shows plenty of minerality. It will continue to age gracefully, allowing a more mature toasty character to come through. Drink from 2018. –Roger VOSS"
"Showing scents of freshly baked bread and pear on the nose, the 2012 Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs offers a refined mouth feel and complex, integrated flavors of pear, lemon and toasty lees. There’s excellent acidic cut on the finish. Aged 6 years on the lees."
