"More backwards, structured and completely closed, the 2005 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee de La Reine des Bois reluctantly gave up deep dark fruits, charred earth, licorice and graphite on the nose, yet fleshed out beautifully on the palate. Full-bodied, massively constructed and a Vin de Garde for sure, it needs to be tucked into the back of the cellar and forgotten for another 3-4 years. - Jeb Dunnuck"
