"The base cuvée is the 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Le Miocène, and it's a terrific wine in the vintage as well. Black raspberries, ground pepper, spice and ample garrigue characteristics emerge from this medium to full-bodied, elegant beauty. It too has plenty of fine tannins, an endearing, elegant style, and a great finish. As normal, the blend is 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre, brought up mostly in concrete tanks."
