"The Clos des Corvées de Citeaux is a monopole of the Domaine, located next to the lieu-dit of En l’Ormeau, with deep soils rich in clay, and tends to produce wines in a gourmand style with a somewhat exotic, musky character. The 2016 rendition is true to the site, but nicely controlled, with a bouquet of ripe peach and honey, subtly framed by new wood. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and quite concentrated, but retains good tension and energy through the finish. This has the substance and balance to age or attack in its youth. - William Kelley"

"The 2017 Meursault Clos des Corvées de Citieau is a one-hectare monopole that is part of L’Ormeau on clay soil that is relatively flat compared to other climats. It has a generous bouquet with white peach, almond and hints of white chocolate that unfold in the glass. The palate is well balanced and fresh despite the lower acidity, hints of orange rind and quince with a taut and quite linear finish. This feels nicely coiled at the moment and the dab of ginger on the aftertaste is pleasing and urges you back for another sip.- Neal Martin"

"The 2018 Meursault Clos des Corvées de Citeau comes from the domaine’s one-hectare monopole located in the middle of the village (part of the lieu-dit of En L’Ormeau). It ripens early and was the first to be picked in 2018. It has a distinct bouquet, quite understated, with yellow stone fruit, grilled walnut and powdered chalk. The palate is fresh and vibrant and slightly lower in acidity than the domaine’s other cuvées, leading to a slightly exotic but very attractive finish.- Neal Martin"
