"Based on 65% Grenache and the rest Mourvèdre and Syrah, the 2019 Gigondas Terrasse De Montmirail is deeper purple hue and offers more smoky black and blue fruits, roasted garrigue, licorice, and ground pepper. Made in a more focused, masculine style, with notable minerality, it’s medium-bodied, has a solid mid-palate, and a great finish. It’s going to benefit from a year of three of bottle age but is unquestionably going to be an outstanding wine."
