"Light yellow-gold. Powerful pear and nectarine aromas are brightened by chalky minerals and deepened by hints of smoky lees and iodine. Supple orchard fruit and Meyer flavors stain the palate, picking up bitter citrus zest and quinine qualities with air. Turns firmer and more minerally as it opens in the glass, finishing with superb lift and smoky persistence. This wine was aged on its lees in stainless steel tanks for three years, hence the name."
