"Bright, deep ruby-red. Brooding aromas of dark berries, espresso, violet and graphite convey a youthfully medicinal quality. Very smooth but very tight, with cassis and bitter chocolate flavors dominating. Tough, granular Petit Verdot tannins give the finish a slight toughness.
