Nice light salmon color, typical of Bandol. The nose expresses some citrus, Pomelos (a delicious type of grapefruit) and lots of white fruit aromas and minerality. The flavors are fresh, fruity and very aromatic, with tons of apricot and mango.
Grilled salmon, chicken dishes as well as salads, sushi and sashimi.
"Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Grenache are comfortably blended in this rounded wine. The wine is ripe, balanced and ready to drink. - Roger Voss"

"Textured with light minerality and a fresh line of citrus, this wine is bright and still young. With plenty of acidity, ripe red berries and acidity, the wine could age further. Drink from 2023. - ROGER VOSS"

"Light, shimmering orange. Vibrant strawberry, blood orange and nectarine qualities on the highly perfumed nose, along with building mineral and floral notes. Taut and focused on the palate, offering intense red berry, orange zest, fennel and lavender flavors braced by an undercurrent of chalky minerality. Finishes floral and impressively long, with reverberating mineral and red berry notes. - Josh Raynolds"

"Light pink. Touches of herbs and earth complement red berry and cranberry fruit in this Mouvèdre based Bandol rosé. It’s soft on the attack and broad on the palate and unlike some Bandol rosés it’s ready to drink now. 55% Mourvèdre, 35% Cinsault and 10% Grenache; founded in 1979, this Domaine and its 12 ha vineyard of 40 year old vines is run by Henri and Geneviève Tournier.- Don Winkler"

"Biodynamically grown grapes have gone into this crisply fruity wine with its high percentage of perfumed Mourvèdre. The zesty red-currant edge is attractive with the weight that comes from the alcohol. Drink the wine from late 2020. - ROGER VOSS"

"This estate continues to make an outstanding rosé and their 2019 Bandol Rose is no exception. Light pink, slightly salmon color, it has a great bouquet of nectarines, white peach, and salty, rocky mineral-like notes. Beautiful on the palate, medium-bodied, clean, crisp, and dry, it’s ideal for summer drinking!"

"This is a compact, tightly built Bandol rosé, crisp acidity delineating its tart strawberry fruit. Its ferrous minerality will play well off rare beef, or even steak tartare."

"The Tournier family established this estate in 1982, renovating an old farm in La Cadière-d’Azur. They farm organically, focusing on mourvèdre, which they blend with a little cinsault and grenache for this textbook Bandol rosé. It’s savory, with mourvèdre’s earthy black fruit flavors, a little herbaceous and peppery, saline and firm. Pour it with a watermelon-and-feta salad, and save a bottle for next summer, too."

"Brilliant orange-pink. Bright and focused on the nose, displaying intense, mineral-tinged orange, strawberry and floral scents and a musky rhubarb overtone. Dry and chewy on the palate, offering bitter blood orange and cherry flavors that unfurl slowly with air. Closes taut and minerally, displaying strong persistence and a lingering suggestion of honeysuckle."

"A terrific Rosé from one of my favorite regions on earth, the 2016 Bandol Rosé from Mas Redonne sports a light pink, just slightly salmon tinged color. It offers light, deliciously quaffable notes of white peach, tangerine and Rosé petal as well as a medium-bodied, clean style on the palate. Drink it over the coming year. - Jeb Dunnuck"

"(55% mourvedre, 35% cinsault and 10% grenache): Bright orange. Energetic red berry, blood orange and floral aromas, with dusty mineral and herb notes adding complexity. Fleshy and broad on the palate, offering concentrated raspberry and spicecake flavors and a bracing citrus pith quality that gains strength with air. Clings with very good tenacity and focus on the finish, the red fruit and mineral notes repeating."
