This is a full bodied wine, rich and full of roasted blueberries and tart raspberries with some dry earthy tannins on the finish. This wine will definitely age very well.
2020 was Dianna Novy's first vintage to work with the Peake Ranch Vineyard. The smoke from the fires in 2020 meant she couldn't harvest from any of the vineyards in Sonoma County. She went to the Sta. Rita Hills AVA to find grapes because there was no smoke in this part of California in 2020.
