Vineyards : Les Narvaux in Meursault sits at the top of the slope on a steep, shallow, limestone plot.
Tasting notes: Les Narvaux is an airy wine that is lively and balanced with aromas of white-fleshed fruit. It offers hints of toasted almond on the nose and is very long in the mouth. Mineral and energetic, it will only open up fully after a few years in the cellar.
"The 2020 Meursault Les Narvaux has a perfumed, floral bouquet with touches of white flowers infusing the citrus peel and orange pith aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, a slightly waxier texture than Chavy-Chouet’s other cuvées, with fine persistence on the finish. Very good length here. - Neal Martin"

"The 2019 Meursault Les Narvaux comes from 70- to 75-year-old vines. It has a little more richness on the nose compared to the Les Vireuils, offering touches of yellow flowers and honeysuckle, and demonstrating more intensity and chutzpah. The palate is well balanced and finely tuned, with a slightly waxy texture and impressive salinity that gets the saliva flowing after the wax has departed. - Neal Martin"
