Bone Crusher was one of the first Darling Brew beers, inspired by the Spotted Hyena (Crocuta crocuta). A much misunderstood and maligned creature, oftentimes a victim of human-wildlife conflict and considered cruel and dirty by many, they actually have a remarkable grace and power and strong family bonds.
Hazy to cloudy pale yellow with a firm head. Aromas of spicy coriander, banana and clove. Candy-floss/bubblegum. Light citrus: bitter orange/lemon. Minimal hop aroma. Flavors are somewhat yeasty body, with minimal residual sweetness. The finish is dry but smooth. Tartness from bitter orange peel.
