This wine has a pretty light straw hue. It offers lovely aromas right out of the glass. Floral, delicate with fruit driven pear, crisp apple lemon notes. There is a creamy inviting vanilla nougat with a refreshing brightness. It is lively in mouth, some might even say a bit racy. Excellent mid plate retention finishes with a mouthwatering, clean minerality, and hint of citrus rind.
"The 2021 Chardonnay Napa Valley offers up a more medium-bodied, juicy, if not Chablis-like vibe in its stone and melon fruits as well as focused, lively texture. Coming all from Yountville, this is a balanced, impeccably made Chardonnay to drink over the coming 3-5 years or so."

"I was blown away by the 2020 Chardonnay, a clean, crisp, vibrant expression of Chardonnay that has medium to full-bodied richness, wonderfully integrated acidity, and a distinct sense of minerality in its citrus, stone fruit, and white flower-driven aromatics. It's shockingly good and tastes like it cost 3-4 times its price."

"Hoopes's 2020 Chardonnay saw no new oak, so it offers up pristine scents of lime, tangerine and white peach on the nose. It's medium to full-bodied, plump and round, even a bit creamy in texture from time on lees, but then it turns crisp and racy on the finish. - Joe CZERWINSKI"
