Oak Ridge Winery ( Delta Landing )
United States - California

Oak Ridge Winery began as a wine-making cooperative in 1934 and is currently the oldest operating winery in Lodi California. The Maggio and Reynolds families have been growing vines in Lodi for generations. They purchased “The East Side Wine Cooperative” site in 2002and renamed it Oak Ridge, determined to create something bigger than bricks, mortar, tanks and barrels. They began a thorough renovation to transform the facilities into a modernized, state-of-the-art winery, capable of meeting modern day demands of quality, style and volume in an ever-evolving global market. Oak Ridge wines are made from 7,500 acres (3,035 hectares) of estate vineyards within the Lodi AVA, which is ideally placed between the Sierra Nevada foothills and the San Francisco Bay, bringing warm days and cool nights. Lodi is a perfect fit for cultivating Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel and Lodi Zinfandel is exceptional. Vines surpassing 120 years yield small amounts of remarkable fruit that encapsulate expressive Lodi terroir. While Oak Ridge Winery produces multiple brands, only the lots most representative of Lodi’s unique terroir are selected for winemaker Cheu Her to craft wines for the Oak Ridge name. Oak Ridge Winery is a culmination of “The right soil, the right climate, the right people”.
