Chateau Bourdieu is owned by Mr. Luc Schweitzer, who purchased the property in 1993. He used to pass the estate on his way to school as a young boy, and when he later learned of the estate’s quality clay and limestone soil, he decided to buy it. Over the past 27 years, Luc has enhanced the vineyard and estate, which today comprises 75 hectares. He manages the vineyard today with his two sons Richard and Ludovic, who share their father’s passion for quality and terroir. Together they strive to bring the best of the Blaye Cotes de Bordeaux appellation.
