A fine noble wine with a bright straw color, made from a selection of Glera (Prosecco) grapes, which highlights the flavors and perfumes of the area. It has some toastiness, fruitiness and floral notes. On the palate one finds figs, green pear, white peach, orange, pineapple and almond. Well-balanced with a nice creamy texture and long pleasant finish.
It is an excellent aperitif, and is also suitable for vegetable soups and shellfish dishes, pasta with delicate meat sauces, fresh cheese and white meat.
"From 100% Glera, this extra dry Prosecco opens up with lemon curd, saffron, and crème fraiche. Mouth-filling notes of juicy peach, lime ice, and fig. A hint of white flowers are painted with a whisp of caramel. Clean, fresh, and vibrant."

"The NV Prosecco Extra Brut comes from a tiny family estate and is 100% Glera. Bright pear, citrus, and apple-like fruits all emerge on the nose, and this beauty is medium-bodied, with a bright, juicy mousse and a clean, classy style on the finish."

"Well-knit and balanced, with lively acidity backing the flavors of ripe fig, juicy green pear, ground ginger, stone and slivered almond. Creamy in texture, presenting a lingering, floral finish. A textbook example. – AN

"This wine shines from the moment the bottle is popped. Classic fresh apples and pear notes mingle with perfectly ripe white peach and orange blossoms. The palate pops with bright acidity and a kiss of minerality balancing out the wine for a zippy finish. Yum! Jeff PORTER."

"This large Spumante estate with just over 100 acres of vines produces high-quality Prosecco. The non-vintage Rebuli Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Extra Dry is light-bodied and flowery with plenty of white peach, orange and pineapple notes in its exotic aromatics and flavors. It is off-dry, but most consumers would consider it to be a dry sparkling wine. - Robert Parker"

"Pale straw. Showing a nose of orchard pear with an accent of dried flowers, this Prosecco is soft, round and texturally very attractive on the palate. Very dry on the finish with lingering pear and white stone fruit flavors. 100% Glera; the secondary fermentation is done in autoclave until a pressure of 5 bars is reached."

"Toasty, which makes this a little more champagnelike and perhaps more familiar to consumers. Nice balance; quite refreshing."
Washington Post (Dec 08) - VERY GOOD
"Very pale straw. Very fine mousse. Nice elegant bead. Aromas of fresh bread dough, pear, touch of marzipan. Light attack. Semi-dry. Licorice note on palate. Soft, light. Simple, light pear flavors."
International Wine Review (Dec 08)
"Pretty silvery straw color. Orange, juicy lemon, peach aromas with a crisp, lightly effervescent, fruity-yet-dry medium body and a long, tangy mineral, starfruit and spice accented finish. Exceptional flavorful, balanced and stylish. A perfect aperitif."
