This southwest-facing vineyard has particularly deep loose-clay and meadow soils. This area's name is derived from the good honey-producing plants that grew on the hill before it was cultivated. They are situated next to the famous Steinberg vineyard at the same altitude level.
Round and refreshing wine with light touches of lemon and lime on the nose. Slightly sweet mouthfeel, with juicy and fruity flavors.
Fresh garden salad, chicken, spiced Asian food.
"Yellow straw color. Aromas and flavors of dried mango, dried pineapple blossoms, lemon grass and melon, and plastic bag with gummi bears with a satiny, racy, dryish medium body and a tingling, amusing, medium-long finish that shows notes of pineapple, mango, lemon, and jackfruit, white flowers and honeysuckle, apricot and tangerine, and candied citrus zest. Dry and clean with well balanced acidity, this is a wine you could pair with virtually every meal."

"A tinge of lime pith lends nuance to this straightforward yet refreshingly citrusy Riesling. Just a shade off dry, its delicate sweetness is balanced neatly by cutting acidity and a spry, zesty mouthfeel. Enjoy now for its freshness."

"The liter bottle (a third more than the standard 750 milliliters) makes this tasty summer white an especially good value and an ideal take along for picnics or patio parties. This is good, basic Riesling — dry to satisfy the purist but fruity enough to appeal to anyone who prefers a little sweetness. It also has wide distribution throughout the Washington area. ABV: 11.5 percent - Dave McIntyre."
