The wine displays an exotic nose with a touch of smoke and licorice. On the palate, peach and watermelon dominate with citrus zest and chalk notes.
It goes well with seafood, fish, goats cheese.
"Aromatic floral and gooseberry aromas with smoke mineral undertones. Fresh and grassy with energetic poise and long elegance finish."

"The 2017 Sancerre Blanc from Michel Thomas is downright exotic, with perfumed notes of pineapple, lemon, green herbs, and ample obvious minerality. Coming from three different terroirs (Caillottes, Grosses Terres, and Silex), it’s beautifully textured, has good concentration, and nicely integrated acidity, all making for a terrific Sauvignon Blanc to drink over the coming 3-5 years."

"This is a grassy, herbal wine with green and crisp citrus fruits. It is of course very young and its exuberant fruitiness will be better when it all calms down. The acidity and hint of apricots give the promise of a richer fuller future. Drink from 2017."

Domaine Michel Thomas received the Gold Medal at Concours Mondial du Sauvignon 2015 for his 2014 Michel Thomas Sancerre Blanc.
"The Thomas family farms 40 acres, blending this sauvignon from three different soils. It’s heady with soft scents of flowers, then brash with sharp points of citrus acidity. Air brings those elements together in a tight, formal white wine that finishes clean and juicy. For roast fish."
