"Bright medium yellow. Ripe apple and white peach aromas are complicated by cooler notes of menthol and white pepper. In a fleshy, smooth style, conveying a fine-grained texture to its orchard fruit and apple flavors. This wine is from a southeast-facing site on degraded powdery calcaire at the foot of La Roche de Vergisson, which Christine Saumaize says produces wines that are light and full at the same time. Finishes dry in a positive way, with some youthfully stony bitterness to resolve. - Stephen Tanzer"
