Caballito de Mar is made from 100% Verdejo grapes. A yellow color with green highlights, fresh and fruity aromas of pear and apple. Citrus and tropical fruit flavors, smooth and soft on the palate, well structured and complex.
White meat, salads and tuna.
"All stainless steel. The estate was founded in 1935. Medium gold hue; fresh and breezy, notes of pear, quince and the richness of lemon curd; beguiling touches of lilac and verbena; lovely talc-like texture, riven by bright acidity; leans toward stone-fruit jazzed by a bit of grapefruit; gratifying heft and presence for the price; the finish brings in more limestone minerality. Now through 2024. Very Good+. - Fredric Koeppel"

"This light-straw-colored wine has a nose of pineapple and grapefruit. There is a touch of salinity on the palate alongside flavors of Valencia orange, white peach and passion fruit that wind down to a zesty closing note. - Mike DeSimone"

"Straw green color. Aromas and flavors of lemon and apple, lemongrass, lilies, and green pear with a satiny, vibrant, dry medium body and a tingling, amusing, medium-to-long finish manifesting accents of lemon oil and lemon zest, blanched salted almond, and fennel and savory herbs. A well crafted and classic Verdejo that leaves you craving tapas."
